July 21st, 2020 – Stockholm, Sweden – Antler Interactive is taking mobile and PC gamers back to the planet of Krystopia today in Krystopia: Nova’s Journey, the sequel to its 2019 point-and-click adventure Krystopia: A Puzzle Journey. Packed with even more puzzles, mysteries and adventure, players must once again step into the shoes of intrepid space explorer Nova. Split across three expansive chapters, Nova’s Journey takes players through beautifully crafted environments as Nova meets an eclectic collection of characters on her quest to uncover the truth behind mysterious events on planet Krystopia.
Krystopia: Nova’s Journey improves and expands upon the first game’s epic adventure. Players take the role of Nova to solve challenging environmental puzzles and riddles, each requiring that they carefully search every element of the screen for clues. Puzzles with pipes, lights and handles are all expertly crafted to keep the player on their intellectual A-game. It’s a journey filled with wonder and discovery, as players explore subterranean caverns and the city of Krystopia. Every area immerses players with its vibrant atmosphere, beautiful art and relaxing soundtrack.
Joining Nova on her journey is her adorable yet dependable alien companion, Skrii. Players can switch between Nova and Skrii throughout the game to navigate levels and overcome obstacles. Along the way, Nova discovers new species and a vibrant cast of characters as she delves into the planet’s conflict and searches within herself for answers. These include the wise but whacky elderly leader Oga, and Nix who seems to be hiding a painful history behind his joyful exterior. As Nova speaks with Krystopia’s inhabitants, players find themselves faced with even more challenging moral choices; ultimately having to choose a side in the planet’s conflict.
