Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge arrives on iOS and Android today, bringing mobile players into the battle

Digital CCG in the iconic Warhammer 40,000 setting adds a mobile version alongside the recently released PC version with crossplay to duel on the go

London, UK, November 2nd, 2023 – Developer Everguild has today ventured further into the Warhammer 40,000 setting with the arrival of Warhammer: 40,000 Warpforge, the free-to-play Digital Collectible Card Game (CCG), on iOS and Android. Warpforge bestows upon players the command of six iconic Warhammer 40,000 factions as digital cards to collect and battle in brutal, fast-paced skirmishes. This follows the Steam Early Access version launched last month.

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge offers innovative gameplay mechanics tailored to the distinctive features of the Warhammer 40,000 setting. Units can attack in ranged or melee, adding new depth and dimensions to the card-based combat. Orks benefit from ‘Mob’ attacks, Tyranids ‘Swarm’ together, and Necrons ‘Reanimate’ their troops! Each faction in Warpforge boasts unique mechanics evocative of their established fighting style, ensuring accuracy to the source material for Warhammer 40,000 veterans and new recruits.

The battle can now be taken on the go, with crossplay enabled, and accounts can be linked for seamless integration between PC and mobile devices. There is a custom interface for touch devices to provide an optimal experience for Steam Deck and mobile players, no matter which platform they are fighting on. Players will be able to fight in draft mode, compete in ranked and unranked constructed modes, or practise with an assortment of ready-made decks. Further game modes and many new factions will join the game in upcoming expansions!

Attention to detail has been a key factor in the design and development of Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge by developer Everguild. The studio is no stranger to the Warhammer IP, having previously created Warhammer Horus Heresy: Legions. From Black Legion spaceships to the interior of Aeldari Craftworlds, the battles that await in Warhammer 40,000 Warpforge will take players on a journey across the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium.

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is now available to play for free on Android, iOS, and Steam. Join the official Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge Discord server for more information.
