eGames Lab is a consortium of over 20 Portuguese organisations, including R&D centres, academic institutions, public bodies, and game developers with a mission to help support them and showcase their work to an international audience.
Headquartered in Madeira and Funded by the EU, eGames Lab needed a strong communications partner to amplify the work of its diverse members. That’s where BGM came in.

We established the consortium's voice through a strategic communications plan that integrated media outreach, content creation, and social media engagement
Sharing news and updates internally to consortium members was just as important as engaging with media and outside audiences.
Our content strategy centres on the ‘Games from Portugal’ newsletter, a wholly owned channel designed to drive visibility for the rapidly developing Portuguese games industry. Delivered monthly via Substack and LinkedIn, it provides curated industry updates, research insights, and new release highlights and, importantly, offers eGames Lab member companies a dedicated platform to amplify their contributions.
