We successfully revived and launched the long-delayed global version of Kakao's hit MMORPG, Odin: Valhalla Rising, reclaiming the narrative and securing widespread media coverage for a new audience.
Overview
We helped announce and launch the global version of the popular Korean MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising and announced several post-launch updates. The game was first launched in Korea and Asian markets and was hugely successful.
The game was originally announced for a global launch in 2021, but was delayed indefinitely until 2025, when we were brought in to help revive the project.
Because the game had previously been announced and never arrived, it was important to regain control of the narrative around it and give confidence to media and consumers that the game would actually launch this time around.
