BLOCKCHAIN GAMING PIONEER EVERDREAMSOFT NEEDED TO RAISE ITS INDUSTRY PROFILE
Blockchain gaming pioneer EverdreamSoft needed to raise its industry profile. The Swiss company was one of the first to create a commercial mobile game which allows players to trade in-game items using cryptocurrency, using the Blockchain. With plans to launch a new B2B platform called Bitcrystals, to allow other game publishers to use the same approach, we were asked to help with PR, branding, design, content marketing, speaking opportunities and helping to increase sales opportunities.

Our strategy for everdreamsoft was based around engaging and unique content.
Whilst EverdreamSoft had a community of gamers playing its Spells of Genesis game, the wider games industry knew virtually nothing about the company.
We set out to create accessible content that would help to position EverdreamSoft, and also educate the media and people in the industry about how the Blockchain could be harnessed.
We set up the SharpSpring marketing automation system for the client to integrate with their social and online channels to drive greater engagement and capture sales leads and used gated content such as ebooks, research and insight.
How we did it
We worked with journalist and blockchain expert jon jordan to create a host of unique content.
Everyone in the games industry knows Jon Jordan. He has written for a host of publications about game design, technology and monetization. Most recently, Jon started the site Blockchaingamer.Biz – a sister site to Pocketgamer.Biz.
We worked with Jon over a number of months to create unique content for EverdreamSoft, including blog posts, podcasts and the first-ever market map of games companies harnessing the Blockchain and cryptocurrency.

We created the first ever survey of 1000 blockchain gamers.
Unique insight is a great driver of media coverage and target customer engagement which is why we thought it would be great to undertake the first-ever insight survey into Blockchain Gamers and their motivations. We worked with EverdreamSoft to create a survey of their player database, looking to the key motivations of why people invest their money in blockchain-based gaming items. We took overall responsibility for the survey from concept to delivery. This included creating the questions, building the survey, sending it out to several thousand prospects, analysing the data then writing and designed it.
